It's almost a great stunt. 

But the Walmart employees were probably not aware that it was an ISIS cake. That kills 2/3rds of the impact he was going for.   

Walmart employees in middle America who can read Arabic are few & far between.  And Walmart can't have a policy of just rejecting any & all Arabic-looking text across the board.   

That was a great video, however I wouldn't trust that Walmart bakers didn't know what the ISIS cake was.

I sure as hell would not eat it. Who knows what ingredients they used.

I wouldn't worry about any of it.  Now that we have isolated the root cause of racism we can quickly eliminate the Confederate flag and all that it stands for.  It won't be overnight but I'm sure that within the next few months, once all traces of that horrid symbol of evil and ignorance are gone the problem will be solved and everyone will love everyone else, poverty will vanish, the jails will empty, the drug dealers will all get real jobs and everyone will own their own home.

Same way  we won the war on drugs, right?

What kill me is, I don't know the percentage of gays and their group, but I think it is pretty small on the whole. Same with blacks, I don't know the percentage of blacks in America but I'm sure it is small also. So how is it these small groups of people can get what they want yet the middle class of America, which isn't a small group, is bent over constantly, getting it in the butt. Or am I perceiving it wrong?

BTW --and speaking of "end of discussion"  I have participated in several threads that have been locked.    I am moved to respond to stuff --and sometimes that stuff is over the top considering where we are.--DC.com--

I appreciate the mod's holding off on blocking this thread as long as they have but it is now far from where it started. With much to say about where this topic has led --I hold my tongue  

Personally I'm interested in how many are moved to remove the flag from their charger. The current issue does have an affect on our hobby and is of value to all of us.

IMO if the current wave of public opinion keeps moving in the direction it has been, we will be fighting an unfortunate fallout that changes not only the value of our cars but us the unsuspecting folk that are enjoying life and have nothing to do with what dead people used to do.----   I sense my instinct to vent/contribute to the demise of this thread---

I agree that we have gotten a bit off topic on this and should;d focus on the question at hand. I also feel that with all the comments we have made we have made our point so lets restart this as a simple yes or no poll for those who have a General and pose the question  Taking It Off ?  Yes or No.

If I had one done it would stay. If I planned to have one done it would be complete with the flag.

when you buy a general lee model car, the flag is not on the car in the pictures on the box, but does come with the flag decal in the box, that pisses me off...

Actually the flag is on the 1:18 cars by AutoWorld #AMM964. It's just covered up with a piece of orange paper that you can easily remove. Strange but true, and man are they selling like crazy. We sold out the middle of last week, and after calling a few suppliers (none had any more) all of a sudden a larger company called us, asking if we wanted all they had as they were instructed to take them out of their stores and off their web site. We bought them all, but at a higher price than we thought they would be. So yes we have some, yes they are marked up a bit, but no where near what the exact cars are priced at on ebay. It will all blow over, I think... but for now we're busy.

Politics aside and from a aesthetic view, the confederate flag is one of the better looking flags imo and fills the blank space on the roof very well.
I think it ads more to the GL then the O1 on the doors have done.
