On the heads up side, If you haven't bought all your seasons of the DOH i would do it now they are starting to go up ...way up in price .I just bought the ones i didn't have. Getting hard to find in stock and for under at least $70 or more Try amazon 1st they seem to be the cheapest still.

One another note i went to bubba's FB page A LOT of fans posting there displeasure  I made a suggestion to put a vinyl flay on if he really has to change it .. at least that is a better option then totally screwing it up.

If you think the DVD's are going up in price check out the general lee car's on amazon!!! Some are in the 200 to 300 dollar range!!! I wonder how much a danbury mint general lee would be worth now since they were so expensive to begin with!!

Yea i expected the cars to go up and been watching them raise but i was surprised that the DVD were also going up.

It's not Bubba Watson's example you need to worry about.  It's Warner Bros.  What happens when they do another bad remake and officially replace the flag with something else?  I've been concerned about this for years.

Honestly, I kinda doubt that WB will do another movie.   They may do a spinoff/ copy cat that would be more politically correct, but I think DoH is done, unfortunately.

That figures. I got a good deal on a few DVD seasons of DOH (1-3 maybe, can't remember) and I was going to buy the rest one of these days but never got around to it.

I ended up paying $30/ disc at a local store that had to order them for me, which is similar to what Amazon would have charged yesterday, cost of the disc + shipping.

I can imagine the insurance companies using this excuse to raise the rates on those with the flag on top.  Glad to hear public response hasn't changed yet.  It will if the media keeps up its attack.

I bet 90%of the public love the general. Good for you for keeping it representing!! I saw two confederate flags tonight at the fireworks!

Drove it again today to Cars and Coffee. 100% positive comments, again.  NOBODY CARES except the media which was bashed plenty by those at C&C. A wide range of cars and attendees. Everything from a cruiser which probably cost a few grand, right to a custom coach built car which was rumored to have cost the owner $2mil. and he's got 4 of those cars... Guy handed me a flyer, inviting me to a show he's putting on  

Where I am, it's good to see those recognize it's the media pulling the strings and such. 

Anyone else driving their General Lee cars?
