I bought a BMW 335i 9 months ago and its eating me out of house and home.
So new injectors are about $250 each (and I wanted to replace all 6, or 2 if I couldn't). but even after I buy them, i have to have to ay for someone to code The ECM for them or buy a cable. and do it myself.
I bought this as a daily driver as it is 3liter, Twin Turbo. I added a Procede Piggy back tuner to it to get over 400HP at the wheels. But I didn't expect for parts to be so expensive even if it is a BMW. I replaced plugs a couple months ago $90 and an ignition coil $55. oh, and a tire ($260). When will the hemorrhaging end?

(read: NO cash for Charger project).

It doesnt end. A BMW is harder to keep in top shape than an old Mopar.
1972 Charger Topper Special, 360ci, 46RH OD trans, 8 3/4 sure grip with 3.91 gear, 14.93@92 mph.
1973 Charger Rallye, 4 speed, muscle rat. Whatever engine right now?

Thats not so bad i just replaced fuel injectors on a 6.0l ford diesel and they were 450$ each times 8, thank god i don't own it  :woohoo:

myk

Fuel injectors suck.  Or blow.  Or whatever.  I had to replace all 8 in my '97 Z28 and it cost hundreds.  There goes my Doug's header based full exhaust for the Charger for a few months... ::)

Have you tried rebuilt or "take-off" injectors? There are usually lots of options. Although, running 33% more power than stock you shouldn't be using stock injectors.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

well, I just ordered 2 pull-offs from a good running motor from Cali, even has warranty on them. Also ordered the iNPA/Ediabas K+D-CAN /DCAN USB Interface so i can code them myself.
We will see if I can stop spending on this.
Upside, is my Hemi Grand Cherokee that I traded in for this, only got 11MPG (cut-in-the-hill in KY). This one gets at east 20MPG.
