Hard to read the tag codes on the right side but I think I am pretty pretty close.  Thought it looked as if it was an original column shift and yes as tan top said it was an original 3 on the tree before being switched to a 4-speed.

been trying to fathom out  , the sequential also  ,  i'm guessing  its a 395941  , may even be 38 , with a SPD of 519 , MAY 19th ,    think a May SPD is too late for a  294941 sequential  , thinking 29 is a Febuary SPD     unless ive been looking at this fender tag for too long & now imagining  seeing things that are not there

Yeah, I've driving myself nuts about it too.  I'd really love to put it in the registry but I don't want to guess.  I've asked the dude but we'll see if he replies, I haven't had much luck with asking CL listers for numbers.
