I just sold my two Toyota 1-Tons (85/88) on Tuesday.    They were awesome.  If it fit in the back, they could haul it.
If the engine and trans are out of the VW then it is likely not photoshopped.  If the drivetrain is in, it's anyone's guess.

Yeah the car is WAY out of proportion.  It's not just perspective either, that car would be the size of a Suburban if you took it out and put it on the ground.
