4 times the legal limit?? Varies state to state but let's say it's 65mph... So you were doing 260mph?

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

That's actually in Canada, the 50 sign is in KPH; therefor the speed of 194KM is easily obtainable.
Every great legend has it's humble beginning.

  OK, you got us on that one.  So you were doing about 120mph.   194kph =120.5mph.   Good one.

Yes.  We're in Canada for this picture.  I'm doing 192 Km/h in a 100 Km/h zone, approaching a 50 Km/h zone, and still accelerating...  NO WAY would I be doing THAT in a congested suburban area.  As you can tell from the state of the windshield, we're talking RURAL Canadian Policing.  This "50 Km/h" speed limit is one of those (almost) loony rural speed limits that begin almost a mile before you actually hit the hamlet of 150 people...that has one main street and not even a single stop sign.

And, yes, I did slow to a reasonable speed before even coming close to the actual "town".  No way was I going to kill someone answering what I didn't even know (at that point) was - or was not- a legitimate call.

I did 140 in a porche 924 on autobahn. 135 on my Honda cbr. Loved every second of it.

150 MPH at Richard Petty Driving Experience at Charlotte
135 on a highway north of Brussels, Belgium
120ish in 2009 Challenger in US 4,000 RPMs in 5th gear (out of 6) so more speed to be had, road wasn't long enough and straight enough
67 Charger restomod 6.4L - being delivered tomorrow from restoration shop!

I did 120 plus in my Superbird back in the day outside Palm Springs, California.  I was running at high speed along side a Corvette and a Ferrari at the time.  No I was NOT street racing...I would NEVER have done anything like that.... :D

After thinking about what would happen if I lost a tire or something broke I came to my senses and backed down, watching the Corvette and Ferrari taillights disappear into the desert night...
