Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

I hope your inspection by the TUV goes well. I am familiar with how difficult it can be with the TUV  :brickwall:

I am also aware that a custom car and bike builder in Germany name Werner has  cartoon movie and also made short cartoons about the difficult TUV inspections.

Isn't that the REX vs. Graveyard Carz fiasco Charger R/T?  I believe it was also at Barrett-Jackson ~5 years ago.

Here's a link for it when it was at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, AZ January 2009.

Welcome to the site Matthias, here's to many hours and miles of happy cruising.

70 sublime

I am sure it is not the REX car
I have been keeping a list of any sublime R/T 70 Chargers I have come across and I did not save the REX car (do not think it was a real R/T car if I remember correctly)

how many Canada spec. FJ5 R/T SE (w/o a vinyl top) 4.10 automatic power window & cruise control cars can there be  :scratchchin: Converted to a 4-speed?  Still a 4-speed?

lots of good leads/contacts and history on the car on the last page of the locked thread

QuoteFor those of you in the Winged Warriors/B body owners association that didn't know.  This is Jerry Moore's former car.  Moore was responsible for some of the meets that were up in South Dakota.

It's a bonafide 1 of 1 car having cruise control with an A34 Dana all backed by the broadcast sheet.

It may have been a basket case but all those "previous repairs" would have been done right had I bought the car.
I mentioned something to Rex last year about what a cool, rare ride he had & wished I could have saved it from him personalizing it.  He responded sarcastically & I don't blame him.  It's none of my business.

Robin & Kori know this car well.  I avoided telling Kori my plans' as last we talked about it, he said the owner who sold it to Jerry was wanting to buy it back.

Also, anyone that was at the 1st DC.com meet will remember the car.  Jerry trailered it there.
Jerry & I parked by each other the next day @ Remilinger Farms for the Mopars Unlimited/Seattle show.  Mopar Action was there & did a 4 page shot.  The main pic was on the 1st 2 pages & showed our cars' parked on the end of the row, my only claim to fame.   icon_smile_big  I was on the end so I got the profile.  Neither one of our names were mentioned but that didn't stop me from buying out Barnes & Noble.   smilielol

At one time I was working hard on purchasing it.  Jerry sold the sublime car & a 3rd gen Charger to a flipper.  This car sold for $35k & said flipper took it to BJ where it sold for high $50k's.

So it's the same car as the one pictured with tail damage.   Looks like new again.    :2thumbs:

:-X     Anyone notice the machine gun tips were re-installed.

My mistake A32, not A34.

Galen told Jerry Moore it was the most optioned '70 Charger he had ever seen.  Beep Beep Dave's car & mine both have full tags like this sublime one.  Dave was the one who broke the news to me that Jerry sold it before I was able to get the $$ together.  I was under the impression it would take in the $50k's when all it would have took was $32k.  I could have done that.

It sure would have been nice to have this one parked next to my purple one right now.  One factory original & the other would bee my modified rig.  Regardless, 2 R/T SE's with cruise...cool.
