the more "out there" something like this is then the more desensitized we are to it. That way, when the kid down the street decides to become a female you're more likely to say "well that Bruce Jenner did it so whatever". This is a much better situation than the kid getting bullied, harassed, beat up, killed, or so ostracized that they commit suicide. The "hero" moniker is getting thrown around because it does take a bit of guts to publicly tell everyone about it knowing that about half the country will have a negative reaction. So many - especially younger - people feel that they are all alone and no one understands what they are going through. Although, in this case I can't help but think the whole family are just a bunch of attention whores and have run out of ways to keep in the spotlight (one could only hope!).

Do I think it's anything special? No. Do I think it's right? No. Do I care? No. Do I wish the media coverage would just go away? Yes. However, it's obviously important to some people or the story would have died with waning interest.

She's rich. She's old. She's not risking a bright future or career by doing this. Her family is supportive. She's going to make a ton of $ out of this. The media and at least a large segment of society is ok or indifferent with her life choices.

Opinion.---He is not.

Fact. --We as all creatures naturally select those that reproduce.

Fact/observation.---Deviations in offspring always happen.

Fact/Observation.---Their are very male females and very female males. --Who is in between?---Also their are some born without sex organs.(rare of course).

Observation.---Our current culture nurtures all off spring.

Observation.---It's currently popular to pet every deviation, deformity, handicap, anomaly, etc.

If you own a business that sells blue widgets, you do what you can to sell blue widgets, not the green ones or the red ones that your competition makes & sells. If the blue widgets you make are crap & your competitors green & red ones are awesome, you will starve. You have the choice of improving your blue widgets to sell them, which costs a lot of money & you still need to convince people your widgets are now worth the money or you can go out of business.

There is another option though, you can buy up the green & red widget companies along with the others, close them down, sell off the machinery, lay everyone off & be the one who corners the widget market. Your widgets suck, but you don't give a rat's ass. You are the only one making widgets & people gotta have their fucking widgets & will kick the shit out of each other & trample them on Black Friday to get your POS widget that you now make in China because it's cheaper. Now that you are a one percenter you need some friends in Washington to help you get into the top 0.01% of the 1.0% so you can move up.

You buy your politicians, get regulations overlooked or have them create new ones that don't do anything so you can screw your employees, dodge taxes, not pay fines when the toxic blue dye comes off your widget & blinds puppies, kittens & babies while you get a tax refund in the millions. Bruce Jenner was involved in a horrific car accident on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu at around noon Saturday, one person is dead, and it looks like Bruce caused the accident ...

Law enforcement sources tell us ... there were 4 vehicles involved in the crash.  We're told there were 8 people involved and all sustained some sort of injury ... but one person died at the scene.

Eyewitnesses say Bruce rear ended the white car and that car went into oncoming traffic and was struck by the Hummer.  The woman driving the white car died.
