Kick Plate Photo Request - 1969 Charger

I used to know my car inside and out but not having worked on it while it was in resto has really screwed up my memory.

I found two aluminum strips that I believe are the running board / kick plate-like covers for the carpet behind the main running board/kick plate.     Trouble being I don't remember which way they go on.


Can't anyone tell me?   My thanks.

Are you talking about the sill plate extensions?

Well, hard to tell.  I assume the open end goes underneath the bigger plate and not the other way around.
