We did some digging and found out the driver is a 29-year-old man who bought the car for $60,000 at a Florida auction about six months ago. A mechanic who worked on the 383 cubic-inch Mopar-powered Charger said the owner – identified by police as Mohammed Abdulla Jamali – told him he bought the car because it spoke to him.

I wonder what the car said and in what language?  Or could it have been the legacy speaking?   Hey yall--hold my beer and watch this. :D

myk

When a person is crazy enough to claim that inanimate objects are compelling him to do things, a crashed car is the least of our problems.

Now if you'll excuse me, my Charger is calling me to top off its radiator...

skip68

That is just crazy.   Talking cars.
Now a unicorn on the other hand is a different story.  I talk to unicorns all the time but never a car.   That's just plain crazy right there.

Doh, he's lucky not to be seriously injured. The front end of that car is a couple of feet shorter after squaring up on that tree. Insurance company is not going to be happy...if there is an insurance company... :brickwall:

Well I have been gone for a year, we moved to a new home we had built and the internet & phone lines were not in the ground like we were told, it took a year of fighting the utility who wouldn't come the 200 ft  to the first house to be built here, now that we built, 3 more houses have started. this land sat wild for 50 years. well finally able to get back on line I saw this post. DO you know where that idiot Got that car and WHO OWNED IT ? It was BYRON CHERRY WHO PLAYED  COY DUKE ON THE SHOW. I saw him advertise it for $60,000. with all the autographs including ADAM WESTS. the car also came with ALL his dukes memoribila, wardrobe and bow and arrow. he said that after his co star passed away ( VANCE DUKE ) he just wanted to sell it all as it meant very little to him with the passing of his best friend. the car had a 318 and was immaculate. what a shame the guy wrecked it.

Hmmmm.....Crashed car was crashed in Virginia. CL car has Michigan plates. Not enough time between crash and CL ad to fix and flip the car. Must be two different cars. Thoughts?
