Black Label Charger

Hello all ,

I am a converted Mopar guy . I have always been a GM faithful in the past . I have always liked 2ND gen Chargers but could not pull the trigger in the past . 8 months ago I purchased a 1970 Charger and could not be more happier then I am now . It is nice to drive a car that is not a Camaro or Chevelle lol..

My Charger came from the factory b5 blue 318 column shift car. Now has a 70 440 , 727 transmission and for the most part I have gone through all of it mechanically . Also , has disc brake swap and completely overhauled the suspension . Just recently I por-15 the floor and trunk areas which had just minor surface rust in areas . After that I installed hush mat throughout the interior before laying down a new carpet and replaced accelerator pedal and pads .

Anyways enough rambling for now , just wanted to say hello from California!

Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Welcome Black Label.  I'm not far from you (CV to Sonora is a fast 2hr15m). There's a few of us with you on the forum up here in Northern Kalifornia (Fresno, Bay Area, Sacramento).

Hope you can make it to Mopar Alley on June 14 (DeAnza San Jose), Capital City Mopars June 27 (Sac), and San Joaquin Mopars October 10 (Madera). All are excellent top notch events and you'll meet many DC members.

Pictures of your '70 please. :icon_smile_cool:

Thanks for the kind words guys ! I will be attending Mopar alley but without my car . I will add some pics after the Warriors / Cavs game . Plus I have to resize them as I found out their too large . My car now is actually a matte black . But future plans are along the lines of gunmetal gray..

Welcome from a fellow new forum member in CA! I'm in Sacramento. Just joined the forum but have had my Charger for 10 years. If you're in NorCal, come by the Mopars in the Park on the 27th of this month in Rancho Cordova!
