What exactly is your problem with mustangs?..

Had I found found a stripped shelby instead of a charger, this...

would be in my garage now... cause for me it was a toss up between one of them and what I have.

I'm perfectly happy the way it turned out though, really...

Strat that's a nice 99M. I have enjoyed my 300M for quite some time and I have been in a Crossfire when they first came out.  I was actually going to buy one instead of my 300M, but I felt for the price and performance, they didn't match up.  I have seen some performance data on the would be Charger SRT-8 and was impressed.  I just don't like the fact that it is called Charger so it would be tough to get over that one.
I was thinking, I could get the Crossfire and put on one of my Charger scripts, really confuse people. :icon_smile_big:
We'll see, I have spotted a few nice Chally's on Hemmingsmotornews, going around $25k.

if you are looking between a challenger and a crossfire.. remember that the challenger will do nothing but go up in value and the crossfire will do nothing be deprecate for quite some time.

If I was choosing on performance, I would go with the 6.1 liter over the 3.2 liter based soley on the displacement of the engine.   Even if the horsepower is the same, the 6.1 liter will have more torque, low end, and will drive better and sound better and be a more solid feel.   Winding out a 3.2 liter that gets its power in the higher rpm's would feel more, well, cheap.   You can't beat the bigger engine for the way it drives.   The feel of the car, you know?   Having a hard time trying to describe what I mean.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

Well I took some test drives and decided...

to skip the new car idea all together and look into a Challenger.  My 300M is fine enough for me and a Chally would be a nice addition to the garage.

If you HAD to pick one of them, then get the Charger in that awesome black that they featured in that Motor Trend issue last month.  Despite it's sacreligous existence, it's a solid car, no matter what anyone says...

You made the right choice.  DCX had a couple of those new family cars at the Nats on the weekend for some kind of test drive program (if you call idling around the pits a test drive) and the more I looked at it, the more puzzled I became.  It may be fast but it just looks like a big bland family car to me.  Why they call it Charger is beyond me, they should have called it Intrepid.

If it were me choosing between the Crossfire and that Dodge Creed , I would most definately take the Crossfire. It's better designed and built. It will also outrun and out handle that Nazi Yuppie mobile all day.  :yesnod:
