Anyone have pictures of the numbers written on valve covers from the factory. Usually written in grease pen on the valve cover. Need to know what number to write on a 68 383 valve cover. Ive search the site, didnt find anything. According to the ICCA engine picture the number written should be the same number from the build sheet.... Thanks! John

Why would that matter ?  It's the stamped numbers on the block and tranny that matter.  :Twocents: :shruggy:

Please remember, It's only original once.  :Twocents:

What you are looking for is the engine assembly number.
That number is determined by:

Body style (A,B,C, E, etc)
Engine application
Transmission-manual or auto
With or without A/C.

What is your specific application?

Charger? Road Runner? Super Bee? Dart? Fury?
Transmission?
With or without A/C?
