Here's another quiz from the same outfit

http://www.pewresearch.org/quiz/science-knowledge/

I aced this one, evidently I know more about science than current events.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Well Ill man up & say I only got 5 out of the 12 right...  :rotz:

Wonder if it counts as smart enough not to take the quiz. Or maybe just enough to know I won't like the outcome.

Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

I aced John's science quiz also but the questions come from grade school science.--I did make it through grade school. :icon_smile_wink:

My score on the op's quiz put me above 60%-- :shruggy:  I too am not up to speed with the current news but I'm still kinda smart.

What really gets my interest is when scientist/researchers find something new. --Dark matter for example.--- It's something that must be but has yet to be found. Very much like finding out the earth is not flat. :nana:

XH29N0G

OK, so the curiosity got the best of me.  10 and 13.  And I was confused by the question "Does nanotechnology deal with things that are extremely...  small, large, cold, hot" because I thought the correct answer would be "no, it only deals with really small stuff"

Now I am hooked.  I just found out get a 23 on the millennial score, but was able to bring it up to a 100 because they let you do that at the end of the quiz.

Good grief.---How can you say that?  :shruggy:   Ships have been falling off forever. The edge is near Bermuda, Duh.

BTW their are many edges to our flat world.  Some silly/simple thinkers believe the edge is straight.--and goes on until??--- The real edges to our world are as close as our back yard.  Watch your step.

skip68

I think I'm on the edge right now.  I must be having an episode or something.
Getting back to the test, shouldn't the majority percentage of us be scoring lower according to the study of average Americans?   Or does this mean that the majority of charger owners are more informed than the average Joe?
Obviously this is a conspiracy and now that we've clicked on the test they're watching us again, still.    :nana:

ws23rt

Since we have taken the test we are now under suspicion/watch. "They" now have more data and that has to be good (for "them").

As far as us charger owners being more informed??---We all need to be tested or it has little value.

If rational/smart behavior in life's choices about what we do with our time and money were to be a test?---I think we would score low as a group. :D

What I aspire to is enjoying every trip around the sun on this disc I live on. :nana:

skip68

:scratchchin: you know, a disc is both round and flat.   We might be on to something here.
You're using trickery on me.
skip68, A.K.A. Chuck \ 68 Charger 440 auto\ 67 Camaro RS (no 440)       FRANKS & BEANS !!!

ws23rt

Don't panic---Being tricked is what we feel only when we are awake. Our dreams are the only real things we have. :icon_smile_wink:

I always wondered what the flat earthers back in the day thought about the edge. Was it curved?  If it was than we would be on a disk. What's on the bottom?  If the edge is straight than how long is it?  If it was straight and not forever long then what?

Is it not true that those who are smart are those that ask questions?  Does it not follow that those that accept a premise without question are less smart?----

RallyeMike

If we keep up this pace, we will soon be taking tests on the different kinds of tests.
