Actually had a storm roll thru here the other day, And as I was going back and forth from the house to the shop, I happened to pass by the kitchen computer, thought, wonder how bad this storm was going to be ( the weather man has not been to accurate lately) so I check the weather network and first image up, was real time lightning. Well, it actually stopped me in my tracks, for one, the wireless internet, took almost fore ever to load. And when I saw how many strikes and how close, I made a sandwich, and waited for the storm to calm down. I somehow think my chance of being struck by lightning, out ways the chance of a lottery win.

This is great.  I can watch the strikes and hear the thunder as it comes rolling by.

Thanks.

We lost power and the lighting tracker stopped.  What is the deal  :brickwall:

Found out there is a 7 second delay too, so the near ones come in too soon
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....
