I thought I saw the build sheet in one of those pictures behind were the back seat goes into the trunk.   If so, make sure you grab it and put it in a clear plastic sleeve.  Don't fold it and be careful handling it.   Looks like a $6,000 to $8,000 car to me.  I'd estimate you're in the $7,000 range for price.    :Twocents:
Good luck with it.    :2thumbs:

Ill have to take a look in the morning and see what it is, I don't remember seeing anything like that though, possibly just a piece of the cardboard that separates the trunk from the interior?
:2thumbs:
Thought I'd put the fender tag on, its a 383 4bbl console shift.

skip68

Never mind.  I just went through them all again and it was the trunk I was seeing.  Sorry but at a glance on my phone it looked like the build sheet.

GTP1500

No prob, I've appreciated any and all input with my predicament.

GTP1500

So would Cars Online be the best place to put it? I've been reading through the forum and it sounds like it can be a nightmare selling a Charger, maybe a little different than selling a Grand Prix....

GTP1500

And still waiting...... Figure wouldn't be cool to sell it and say the title is in the mail.  :brickwall:

GTP1500

Well the DMV let me down, big surprise...... June 9 was good to go I thought, now I get a call from them that I need to sign a document stating the car doesn't have insurance before they even send it off to Topeka to be processed.  :brickwall:

ACUDANUT

Just ask for title only and sign the doc.  Your almost there.

GTP1500

I signed it and asked nicely if they could expedite it.

So who wants to buy a charger?  :yesnod:

skip68

I think you should advertise it here for $8k obo.   I think you'll sell it no problem.   :2thumbs:

Taxes? --Which state or states require a tax be paid on an old car?

Illinois rapes people if you buy from a dealer.   If it is a private owner, they just changed it to a flat rate.   I did the same thing with my Coronet.  I didn't put it in my name for 9 years, the only saving grace I had was it was purchased out of state.  If you buy a car in IL, you have 30 days to title it in your name.  If you don't, there is an escalating tax rate as a penalty.   Luckily, I just had to pay the state tax, which was a crap load!
My name is Mike and I'm a Moparholic!

GTP1500

The only thing as I understood that saved me from not paying penalties was titling antique off road.

Now I'll be "Chargerless" I'm going to possibly join a Corvair forum....  ya know those odd rear engine air cooled thingys..... :scratchchin:

JB400

You're still welcome here.     Ownership isn't a requirement, just a benefit.

GTP1500

Thanks, kind of  :'( since I don't have one..... The worst part is I've never even driven or ridden in a Charger.
If the Charger show is in El Dorado, KS again I need to bum a quick ride in one. :icon_smile_big:
