I put my car in storage mid November last year with a freshly rebuilt engine looking forward to putting some miles on it this year. Life being what it is (a major house project that started after Christmas went long into the spring) it hasn't been outta the storage garage yet. A leaking master cylinder was pulled off to keep the newly painted engine bay from being screwed up so a new one needs to go on. I did manage to start it on Memorial Day only to find out it stopped pumping fuel after 5 mins (clear fuel filter is empty). Fill the fuel bowl and it'll run until the carb is empty.
Well more trouble shooting to do. I remember dumping 5 gal. and stabil in it before storing so it wouldn't be on E and the gauge reads just under half so I'm thinking one of 2 things. It either picked up some sediment in the tank (I removed and flushed the tank in 2012) and clogged the screen, filter or both or the 2 yr old fuel pump took a dump.
Man it sure did start quick though like it wanted to go run down a deserted road!
