How do I know??? :smilielol:

I got my car last Saturday  and I've offered too let Wellington display it with the new models as long as it's protected. So this year there WILL be a Hellcat for Canadians too see  :2thumbs:
Least this way it's not on the show. Field at risk of being damaged.

First oil change tomorrow LOL.... My quarter panels are still green and not black from rubber. Followed the break in procedure and tomorrow I will hit the magic 804k  or 500 mile mark when ALL FEATURES and power is unleashed from the computer.

The exhaust is MUCH louder than my 440 with 3" TTi system. Anything over 3500rpms and you will have some explaining to do if a police officer is within earshot. Cold start up is a thing of beauty. Barks and growls too life.

Handles like its on rails with Razor sharp steering inputs and the rear only steps out under throttle when asked. Otherwise it just sticks and goes around corners ... No muss no fuss no squealing tires. It defies logic how well it corners.

It's worth the wait, and it's everything the media has lead you too believe it is. But so much more....

myk

Awesome.  Congratulations.

Louder than a 440 with TTi's?  That's one helluva car...

War wagon

I made the mistake of goosing it under an overpass in first gear..... NEVER AGAIN!! Sounded like the allies just bombed the buildings beside me, was INSANE LOUD...
Anything over 3500 rpms is beyond any pre conceived ideas you have about the sound. Honestly it sounds more like a big block with open headers .
The part you never hear about is how easy it is too drive slow. They are not high strung monsters , you could drive your grandma too church and she would have no idea what lurks under the hood!!
Transmission shifts smooth as butter.

Dodge hit a homerun with these car IMHO , they are the real deal.

Next years production will be double, just announced... Also sublime green and phantom black are discontinued after this year. One year only colours.. Rumour is Plum Crazy will replace one of the colours.

So far there are 333 Challenger Hellcats in ALL OF CANADA!! With 132 of those being Sublime.

I waited 10 months for the car and extremely happy I did and didn't cancel..... It was worth everyday I had too wait!!

I've been taking a lot of flak from friends about leaving it parked in the driveway, sitting in the rain all night...
My 69 is in the only available garage spot ATM and so far has had no interested buyers.
I refuse to put the charger in the driveway and a new car in the garage. Actually told a couple folks to mind their own fn business.
The Charger is still my baby that I've busted my knuckles on for the last five years. Either it finds the right home or I'll keep it. Not sure where lmao but that's what will end up happening....
I won't give it away, too many dreamers out there.

Honestly I NEVER DREAMED my order would get picked up. Feeling very fortunate to have 2 beautiful Mopars ATM

The solution is to get a two car garage-both of your beautiful 'Mops deserve to be sheltered.  BTW, it's picture time with the two of them together!  If that's ok with your neighbors, anyway...

Great looking car War Wagon! Very envious. Will be fun to see them at Carlisle this year.

So I've been busy and distracted over the past 6 months...  Wasn't there some deal where all the hoods were supposed to be blacked out??

:2thumbs: I want to know how long you evade the 5-0 for not having a front plate(which is stupid imo). I lasted about 1 season and coming home from a small show got pulled over! RATS!!!! Awesome ride brother!

There was/is an optional hood black out treatment which I had ordered but had to drop last November due to production issues. 1k option!!! I was told if I wanted to wait and hope it came back I could.... I opted to move the order sling without and will have the hood wrapped in vynl.

The second day I got pulled over for no plate and had to drill holes and put one on, what a stupid law :(
I have an AZ LIC and can't afford stuff against it.

Went for its first oil change yesterday and look what I found sitting outside the dealership...... Lol it's the owner of the dealerships' car. They have 13-14 classics, been in business 75yrs selling dodges

Well sorry to my Canadian friends but my car will NOT be at Moparfest this year.
I had an opportunity too race the hellcat on the same date I just couldn't resist.....

1/2 mile airstrip with timed runs.
We don't have many opportunities in Canada to push our cars at high speeds LEGALLY

Smiths falls Ontario August 15th 2015 in case anyone is close and wants too watch the mayhem LOL

A friend is going in a charger hellcat and another challenger hellcat is going as well. 110 of Canada's fastest cars will be running. Lamborghini Ferrari Porsche etc etc and a few Dodges too keep them all in check LMAO

Yes, that Daytona is the one he did the burnout with one year about 4-5 years ago. Keeps in mostly in their display area.
It's in our 09 pics http://www.retrorarities.com/Moparfest2009/index.html
Hellcats apparently are fairly common around here.  we had 3 at our Mopar show in the rain this year.  No telling how many would have come out if the weather had been better.
We even had one in our appearance on TV.

Are they rare up there or something?

maxwellwedge

I think that Daytona was born white if it is Peter's old car.

YES THEY ARE VERY RARE IN CANADA!!!
When I took delivery may 16 there was ONLY 347 in the whole country and less than 150 in Ontario
More than 5000 have been sent to the United States and they are made here in Canada in Brampton Ontario .
At least a year wait for one in Canada and that's IF you win a lottery and get your order picked up....
Very rare and always will be in this country

Saw a Hellcat at a car show couple of week ago here in New Brunswick, nice car but the owner looked a little pissed that he did not get first place at the show.

a lot of people are pissed if they don't get first place because they bought a new car they believe they deserve to get 1st place off the car lott  :icon_smile_big:

I have a hard time believing the hellcat is louder than a 440 with 3inch exhaust  :shruggy:  I have heard one rev to 3k rpm plus and I revved mine to 3k rpm plus also and mine was louder and significiantly and my is a little a 383.  ;D

what Am I missing here?  Even the owner said mine was louder than his and he thought his was louder than the old muscle cars until he tried it against mine said mine was loudest.

CONGRATS though on the car im JELOUS!!!!  :icon_smile_big:

War wagon

The Hellcat is Quiet until you hit 3500rpms or higher, then if a police officer is within earshot you'll have some explaining to do. Lmao
Below 3500 it's very quiet and tame sounding ( except cold start up)
Over 3500 rpms in Any gear though and you can hear it for miles and miles...
Hellcat has 2.75" exhaust all the way back with electronic butterflies that open above certain rpms and in certain modes... Trust me , it's LOUD at WOT, Way louder than my 440 was..

CAPER

Saw a few Hellcats on the Field this morn and in the Parking Lot. Moparfest limits the newer cars (year 2000 and newer) to a max 200.
