NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

expensive but freaking cool  :coolgleamA:

considering the number of chargers and their conditions, it makes me wonder if this is some sort of relative to 70sublime  :scratchchin:

Who would want a charger that was in a barn cave in accident lol.

Since I live here in the area I have been eyeing this up..I thought the cars were a little much considering what happened but it appears some have sold :o

True, but, I would have to think he waited out the offers cause this ad has been up for almost 6-8 weeks...and only recently did they have any sold tags on the ad...remember Hplag is in the area. maybe he will scoop em up...

Those cars - all of them, are pretty bad  :Twocents:

So take those XP cars, priced between $10K-$11K  vs. the brown Charger R/T which sold 5 years ago for around $25k, and which is the better deal?

Those cars on CL are a mess and need an awful lot.

For me, I'd rather have this one, originality, and all - and from a Barn  :Twocents:

This same guy I think has a green 68 318 car with 57k miles for sale on craigslist for 20k. Pretty sure they are have the full story over on the for bbodies site in the for sale forum/section.

Gee thanks for "storing" these awesome cars!  They may have really suffered if they had been neglected... :brickwall:

What the heck are people thinking of doing with a bunch of projects like that?  The majority of people are unable to finish a single project let alone a bunch of them.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

The "barn", as it's portrayed, was just the dumping ground for junk. Not like it was parked in there right, then decomposed.  ::)

He's storing junk, where it is doesn't really matter, only that there's a bunch of cars rotting away.

Right, that's what I was saying, or trying...

The brown charger r/t above though, it must've been a decent car when parked, as it looked to clean up nicely when shown at Carlisle. Certainly the paint, interior, etc., all looked to be in great shape. Pic looks better than $25k, IMO.

Those junkers in the CL ad are 4-5k cars, maybe.

Ah gotcha, I misunderstood.  And I would have to agree with your assessment.

The barn matters here because the seller uses it to raise the value of the cars, or at least he tries to.
Marketing them as un-circulated and unkown barn chargers leads potential buyers to look at the cars as possible gems.
Also the "barn collaspe" bs is him trying to mislead buyers into thinking he would otherwise be keeping the cars and is only selling because of situation.
He is selling because at the price he listed the cars at who would not sell them?
Ads like this make me laugh.

Daytona R/T SE

This whole thing has HLPAG written all over it.  :Twocents:
