I think you might have to register as a member if not one allready, but 9 posts down on this topic titled Paint job on a budget this guy tells how he has painted a few cars with great results for about $50.  Yeah I know unbelievable right, but when you read through how he does it, there is a lot of work that goes with it, and I don't think anyone would do that much work unless the paint job actually turned out decent.

yeah, I remember reading that  a while back.  From the pics it looks nice, but anyone whose bought a car over the internet knows how deceiving pics can be.  He seems to have convinced quite a few people of how great the results are, but I would be skeptical until I saw pics.  Just my humble opinion though.  Tipopiola :icon_smile_big:

i guess   :-\,  if you can get enough paint on there evenly & with out air bubbles ,and a good   color sand,  mop it up with G3 or something being care full not to burn through ! but it goes with out saying  only on straight colors. at the end of the day it is up to the individual , not something  i would   consider  doing though

i'm cheap.............i've got the paint bought, and am waiting for the weather to clear up a little, and i'm going to try it...........i'll let you know how it goes.
