Anyone have production numbers for a 73 charger 400 4spd sunroof? Or where i can look.

Hey Dookie,
I have been working on numbers mainly for the 1969-1972 powered sunroofs, but plan on expanding into the 73-74 cars within the next year. Most of the B-body numbers from 69-72 range from 175-400 produced. In 1973, American Sunroof Corp came up with a manual sunroof "kit" that could actually be installed on the factory assembly line. This brought the cost of the sunroof option down from $400-500 to around $200. (Previous to 1973, cars had to be shipped to a local ASC facility for the sunroof install.) The lower cost most likely bumped up sunroof production for 1973. I don't have a solid number yet, but I think its safe to say that 1973 sunroof Charger production was easily less than a 1000 units. When you combine that with your fairly rare 400/4-spd combination, you are looking at a very low production number for your specific car. Hope this helps!
Scott.
