power window relay wiring pics

anyone have any info or pics on wiring power windows to a relay?any help would be appreciated

where is the relay in above diagram?

I have replacement relays here, any car 68 & newer has the relay stock under the dash...you have to have key on in order to operate windows

thank-you for the diagram im installing power windows to just the front i have 3 wires coming off each motor harness (yearone) i did find the relay where do the red, purple and grey wires go on each side of the motor?

As far as I know from the factory and like the first diagram TT posted, the motors have two wires each coming from them. One wire for up and one wire for down. Then unit itself grounds to the chassis. Maybe one of the three wires from your's is for a ground?

As for the relay the big red wire goes behind the cluster to the amp gauge and then a small brown wire to the fuse block. I know this from my 68 Charger.

The purpose of the relay is to prevent window operation if the ignition switch is off (makes it kid safe).

If you have no such worries just wire the power wire direct to the battery through a breaker.
