The car is originally a XP car. I found the car on craigslist around Des Moines Iowa.  It had the original 383 with 727 tranny. It was a triple green car and was partially restored.  What I thought was neat after going through the fender tag was that it had the white hat special code which I don't know if that is rare or not. I was gonna restore it to original condition except for paint but someone told me I might as well restore it to what I wanted so I could enjoy it.
So it is gonna get a B5 paint job with white interior and white vinyl top. I am also gonna R/T clone it with the badging and R/T stripes on the back.  I bought a rebuilt 1970 440 for it and am gonna put a 6 pack setup on top of it.  I know its not original but figured I would enjoy this setup better.

Back in late 1968, a good friend of mine bought a new 1969 Charger R/T just like you are planning to do to yours.  It was B5 blue with a white vinyl top, white interior, and a whiter "R/T" stripe.  It was a gorgeous car!  You have chosen wisely!

A couple decades ago I was looking at an identical car to what you're building from Kentucky, had to pass on it since the owner would never take the pix I wanted, like he was hiding something.

Is the ND in your username North Dakota?  My best bud moved back home to Williston to take care of his Mom.  He was here last month & mentioned something about them finding another formation over there that's equal to or larger than the Balken?

Me too. This requires an electric fuel pump since the compressor and mechanical pump want to be in the same space. This is a good idea.

Is that heat /air conditioner set up a kit or something you put together ?

If it's a kit what company makes it ?

That car is coming along great!!! I just put new sub frame connectors on my charger recently. I did the bolt in ones but over the weekend I welded the front of the connectors to the cross member for more stability. I am planning on welding the back of the frame connectors too. They bolted in nicely but additional welding will make them more rigid and more solid. I'd like to see some pic's of the torque boxes, I haven't never seen any around here on any mopars. It may not be necessary on mine since I will not be drag racing or nothing like that. Just cruising mostly...

Charger_Fan

That's a beautiful Charger! Thanks for continuing to update your thread. Here's hoping you will be able to attend the show!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

The air conditioning and heater setup is a Vintage Air kit. The kit for mounting the a/c compressor on the fuel pump spot below the alternator is from Bouchillon Performance Engineering. Here is the link to this setup.

It's a 69 Charger no need for the door scoops unless the OP wanted to modify his Charger that way in which I read through the entire thread and he does not mention so. 1970 Charger only for the R/T door scoops which was a dumb move by Chrysler covering up the iconic door scallops IMO.
