My  :Twocents:  - keep paying attention to detail now as it will save you a lot of grief and troubleshooting later on   :yesnod:

Disconnect the battery, unscrew the fuse box and flip it over. The hot wires to these two fuse spots is either broken off or disconnected on purpose by the previous owner. There is a bridge strip on the back side that takes power to different sides. Once unfastened and hanging you can check the backside terminals for power to the fuse sockets.

does anyone have a pic of the back of the fuse box for a 69 charger?I dont see any bridge for the orange and tan wire/ everything else is hot!!!

Ghoste

I can get a pic up in the morning.

This may help.  Just select your car.  I have the back of the 70 RR I just replaced with a late model blade fuse box I can post.  Won't be exact but very close

Check the headlight foot switch, that's where the power goes first.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

tiki

I did unplug the foot switch and had no power there either, time to dig a little deeper! :popcrn:
