Just by a chance meeting, little Miley has a new home...with me!  :icon_smile_big:

Her previous owners were on their way to put this little gal down, they were moving. it seems they were too lazy to try to find a new home for her!  ::)

I know there is a pet thread...can't find it....didn't look very hard tho!

Meet Miley, hers 5 yrs old

She seems to have a rather larger head, might be the hair-do, I dunno...

I'll get that checked!

Glad you got her!  :2thumbs: People give up on their animals for the stupidest $hit. I got involved in GSD rescue recently, I really have the need to choke the crap out somebody!  :slap: I'm going to get this little sweetheart tomorrow....

Awesome that you did that! I can't believe that people dispose of their pet like it's an item! :flame:

Animals are treated this way because to most people, animals don't represent LIFE, the most sacred, priceless thing to be ever created by God or nature.  Rather, animals are more like toys or accessories or something to pass the time with until something newer and shinier comes along.  Hence, animals are disposable, because they carry as much worth as last seasons bra or handbag styles to many people.

Good on you for rescuing this discarded life, may the person who abandoned the greatest gift of all burn in hell...

Props and thank you.

I did rescue for 10 years.

That's enough to warm the heart right there. Kudos to you Ram07! She's a cutie!

That is good of you. I have always gotten our pets from shelters. I did have one small shepherd mix that attacked my neighbors goats and almost killed them and started growling at my kids. I did away with it but all the rest were good pets. I would only put one down if it had a incurable health issue or was going to hurt my family.

Good man, Ram07!  :2thumbs:  She will make a great pet for you.

My mother has a 10 year old male Shitzu in the same color scheme.  They make great companions.  You can't catch him if he gets to running around, you just have to wait until he gets tired before you have a chance.  My mother also has a Maltese that we rescued from a shelter five years ago. He is a bit more aggressive than the Shitzu, even though the Shitzu outweighs him by 2.5X (10 pounds Maltese vs. 25 pounds Shitzu)...

Dogs are amazing, cats too. Compasionate, and they show love. Myself, I would love to own a dog someday, but do not want the responsibility at this point in my life. I wish others would think about that before they take in an animal.

I am glad there people like you guys who do take them in and let them have good lives.

That is a fact. We have two shepherds, and a cat. All were rescues. I wouldn't trade them for a '68 Hemi 4-speed Charger. Meaning I wouldn't trade them for anything.
