Was attempting to tune the car and the temp crept up to 200 degrees.  I was idling around 800rpm, 3000cfm electric fan, aluminum 3 core radiator, 160 t-stat, and no hood.  I'm tuning with a FAST XFI (long story there) and the timing may be off.  Should I ditch the t-stat and just put one of those washers instead?  Any ideas? :shruggy:

3 row radiator and 160 stat shouldnt get hot. Sounds like a lack of airflow even with that fan. Verify water circulation 1st to rule out a sticking t stat.

Got ahead of myself.  T-stat was stuck.  Was told to use 190-210 in my application.

Stay with 180. Glad it was simple fix
