What makes them fall apart is that inevitably someone posts a picture of a girl with a different Mopar saying that "its still a Mopar so its okay"  and then someone posts a non Mopar with a girl saying "its okay shes still hot" and ultimately people just begin posting girls without cars which leads to one-upmanship and eventually porn.  Of course in between each of those stages will be the bickering over the non compliant posts and the reposts etc.

OK, I'll start.   The paint isn't what it used to be, motors a bit tired and takes longer to talk into a drive, few more issues than before but I still drive it anyway.   The Charger on the other hand was pretty good.

Those have been tried as well and the rules have been set since the site began 10 years ago and are pretty clear really.  Sooner or later they always get out of hand and whirlwind out of the family site guidelines.  Don't misunderstand me, I'm all for it, I just think it will fail like the others.  The one on the old site was reaching critical mass just before the site went down and the chicks with Chargers one has been locked down in a couple or three different versions here.  There was a girls with Mopars one, there was a "our wives with our cars" one.  There may not have been a plain girls with cars version but that one wouldnt hold much interest for me anyway so I could have missed it.

OK I'm a little confused. I'm a relative newguy but do a lot of lurking and never knew about the family site thing. Maybe I didn't read certain things. How many on this site are under 18, or how many guys on this site also have family members posting on this site, or, what constitutes a family site. I only go on one other forum so know nothing about family sites.

My basic rule is that I better not see anything more than I'd see in a Victoria's Secret catalog. And even that is more risque that some people are comfortable with. If you want to see porn well, it's the internet for Pete's sake! There's about 10 million other sites you can visit (with better content along those lines as well). There's always some douchbag trying to see just how far he can push the limit (ie naked but turned in such a way that none of the naughty bits are visible) and then another douchebag tries to out do that one (maybe a partial nipple showing). Even after we remove offending pics and post multiple warnings the downward spiral continues. It's to the point where it's so predictable we might as well kill the threads on day 1. And this is the case no matter what the 2nd half of "Chicks with..." is! The bickering comes from going off subject (which is never why the threads get locked incidentally). But hey, people do that with nearly every other thread too.

I don't know what you just said Troy but it sure sounded purty.       
The last thread I started lasted a couple years but had what Troy's saying happening.  I missed the pictures that got it locked but it kinda bummed me out since it did so well for so long.    It seems to turn into a competition.        

Sexy and hot can be achieved in a woman without being nude.  It's gotta be tasteful.   I'd imagine if a new thread starts or this one is the start that Troy and or the mods will have to keep monitoring it knowing it'll only be a matter of time before they have to step in.    Kinda sucks because it makes extra work for them I'm guessing.   I personally don't think it's worth it.
