low top speed in 1/4 mile

I dont know much about 1/4 mile runs but I just saw a time slipe for 12.33sec but dude ran 88mph in a 07 300c srt model.  Is that even real possible slow speed but fast 1/4

Sure, you hammer it off the line, make up a lot of ground quickly, then shut it down for the last 100 ft. or so. You have a fast e.t. with lousy mph.

Kinda like a fuel car that looses a blower belt mid track and knocks down a 8 second e.t. at 110mph.

seems odd to me, I would think for that E.T. he would be in the 110 range, unless he made it 98% to the end and hammered on the brakes

Watch a Top Fuel dragster when it blows the tires off 50 feet out....it'll coast through with an ET of 8.90 at 78 mph.

Its probably a 10 second car and he lifted and coasted after the 1/8th.

Wow 8.secs at only 78mph.....I need to google this.  I just have a hard time believing it......I see those nitro cars run 8secs but they hit 190mph and then some in. Secs but hit 300mph.......by logic and physics faster u can go within a set distance the quicker time.
