why can't I submit a post ???

I've tried 6  F*#@ing times to submit a post in the parts for sale and I either get...  a file with the name already exists -- so I've renamed the file --OR -- I get   you've already submitted this post, but nothing shows ??    I bet this post will submit just fine

OK, this is getting ridiculous.  I've waited 4 hours to try and post in the parts for sale.  Renamed my pics for the 6th time, and this is what I got ....      Sorry! There is already an attachment with the same filename as the one you tried to upload. Please rename the file and try again.        What the F#$K

Is the file name for the photo one that no one else has possible used? Make it unique...the software on this site does not allow duplicate names for photos to be used. Use at least 10 digits and/or numbers.    It has happened to us all.....

I put my initials at the end and have never had a duplicate. I'd remove the duplicate name logic but we have people who like to upload the exact same picture 100 times instead of learning how to create a signature. Our storage and bandwidth were going through the roof!

The previously submitted error is actually a byproduct of the image upload failing. It supposed to stop duplicate posts but isn't smart enough to know that the first time didn't actually "take".

You *can* create the post and submit it then go back and edit it to add pictures. That way you don't lose everything you typed.

Do like Troy said or just literally rename it 10 random letters and numbers. Problem solved.

Just name the picture then add todays date to them
