I switched out an old cast iron intake for a Torker 2 on my 440. Now I just can't seem to get it right.
It was initially running extremely rich so I redid the air fuel mixture and dropped the front jets from 72
down to 68's. I pulled the front two plugs and the two rear plugs. The middle plugs are the fronts and the outside
plugs are the rears. Here is the pic.
Thanks
   I hope the pic works

If you have a vacuum leak in a cylinder it could cause some plugs to run hotter and others to run rich as you try and compensate.

Is this from one side?  There should be eight.  What do the others look like?  For you next picture, orient them the way they are in the engine.

500" NA, Eddy head, pump gas, exhaust manifold with 2 1/2 exhaust with tailpipes
4150 lbs with driver, 3.23 gear, stock converter

Did you install new plugs when you switched intakes?  Are these plugs just "reading" the Torker 2?

If I interpret the post correctly, the plugs, from left to right, are from cylinders 8-2-1-7

I read it as he pulled the 4 corner plugs and left the 4 middles in. I also ask, are these readings solely on the torker 2, is this idle only readings.

Something doesnt seem right in the whole scenario. Going from a stock intake to a more free breathing intake, it shouldnt require less fuel. We need more info besides "i cant get it right."
