These should be hitting the market soon.  Any comments or speculative thoughts?

myk

That's a lot of coin but it'd be well spent, for sure...

Seams like a pretty good deal for two fully assembled hds.
What was I thinking?

Assembled heads direct drop in.....better than eddy rpm?

justcruisin

Edelbrock claim 292 cfm from there rpm's, most tests I have seen fall short of that - OOTB. Interesting to see some independent tests on these, I'm sure at 240cc's they will flow more than the eddy's. Does seem like a smokin deal for a ready to run head at those numbers. Another reputable player has to be a good thing.

Nice set of heads, but I don't think the intake is going to work under a stock hood.

great...one more thing to save up for  :yesnod: :drool5:

Finally... Trick flow heads work awesome and those flow numbers are impressive for a non ported head.  :Twocents:

The 240cc PowerPort head looks like a very nice product. For sure these will make more power than an "out of the box" Edelbrock RPM  :yesnod:

These are fully ported CNC heads with very nice combustion chambers and large 2.19 intake valves vs the RPM's at 2.14.  :2thumbs:

The matching (TrickFlow) manifold is tall like the Edelbrock Victor but someone wanting to stuff all this under a stock hood could opt for the low rise Holley Street Dominator intake manifold. The Victor & SD are virtually tied in terms of power... from my experience on the dyno. The SD will move enough air to make well over 600hp so it's no slouch !  :icon_smile_big:

This looks like a great head for a pump gas street/strip stroker or a hot 440 build.

Unfortunately I don't see them on their website yet.  Trick Flow says availability should be around July now.

Almost forgot; they said roller rockers are recommended because of the spring pressures involved but stock rockers can be used also.  I imagine the camshaft is a key consideration.  Still, I thought the stock, stamped steel rockers were bulletproof so I am a little surprised they're recommending rollers based on durability.   Adjustable makes sense too - but rollers?

looks good !!   not that it prolly matters to most , but for me , for a purely visual appeal , shame they don't cast  these heads as close to stock looking from the out side as possible . like the stealth heads .

They have nothing to lose by recommending, but not mandating, better valvetrain.

These TF heads are reading like a better deal than the Eddys, at least on paper.

$1900 to $2100 depending on valve train.

I am going to stick with porting/re-doing the Stealth's for now, as I get just as much useable Flow to the .550" Lift range,(maybe even slightly fatter in the mid lifts), with the added benefit to the Stealth's outwardly "stock" appearance.
Makes for very nice "sleeper's"

No doubt about it, Trick Flow make nice stuff. Just say'in.... NO benefit for me, and still cheaper for my Customers.
