It was the first cruise night of the year in El Cajon, California last night. I was asked by the organizer if I would display my car. There were three Chargers on the promenade, my 68, a really cool 69 with a new gen 426 and an amazing restored 70 RT with 440 six pack. There were other vehicles on the prom but based on the spectators reception it might as well have been just the three Chargers.

love to see more pictures of the 69 with the Gen III 426
Thanks

It was a really nice car even though it had a Chevy transmission and Corvette front suspension. Fit and finish was beautiful. It was at the Del Mar Goodguys a couple weeks ago so it might get featured on their website. He said he spent 300K building it.

Awesome! The chevy tranny bolted right up to the Hemi?

I got to park in the promenade by that Charger with the Chevy pieces last year.  I have to say that car was so perfect that I was ashamed to park next to it, lol...

Wait a minute.  Wait one cotton pickin' minute.  Is that a spoiler on your tail, Hollywood?  What is that about ?  I think I love it!

Wish I had made it. I am stuck over in the Middle East...    maybe when I'm back in CA all the SoCal guys can meet up and down a few beers.

You're on, brother...

I need to get down there too.  I'm having some bad fuel issues though.  That green looks amazing.

I was thinking the same thing...suits the car quite well!  I wouldn't mind having one to accent the car, provided I could swap back-and-forth.  I'm planning to do that with wheels/tires, intakes, etc, haha.

It looks like it's bolted into the decklid.  I don't think I'd be comfortable with that, though...

True...I suppose we can live vicariously...or save up for a second deck lid, haha.

Yea, it's a spoiler on the back. had to think long and hard about putting it there because it is attached to the trunk deck, which means I had to drill holes in the back of the deck. It was worth it once it was there because it does look very cool and blends with the body line of the car. Lots of complements about the way it looks.

Amazing looking green, even on the computer, looks sharp with those wheels in gunmetal  :coolgleamA:

For me, I'd have just gone with two tone on the Brown Charger, but have to say it looks mighty impressive too.
