I have a 68 Charger, with a 70 440 Engine.  I am trying to figure out which pressure hose goes on it.  Used the search function and found out that I don't have the saginaw pump, but the other.  I have the pump with the round neck.  Can somebody help me out on which HP line to use.

Googling the differences in all the pumps, I have a federal pump.

The pressure hose hooks to a flare fritting on the steering box valve, the size of the fitting changed between '68 and '70 ('68 is 5/16" and the '70 is 1/4") so it's unlikely that even the correct hose will fit without changing the fitting in the valve.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I think I figured it out.  I had to order a 69 setup.  The motor is an early 1970 production block with a late 1969 power steering pump.  Well, I will see if I got it right when I pick up the parts today.

I don't think year of the motor really matters. there are a couple styles that will work. just keep in mind where you start and stop for Clarence issues.

Nope that didn't work.  Year of motor doesn't matter.  I need a Power steering High Pressure hose that runs from my federal pump to my 68 gearbox.  There is a fitting on my gearbox already.  I just need to find the right hose.  The one at the parts store had a weird loop-d-doop confinguration.  I am scared its the $200 dollar hose, and not one of the $25 hoses.  I already installed option B, and it routes up and around the federal pump.  I didn't think Dodge would have designed it that way.  Does anybody have a photo of the correct line?

Is it?
