Thanks for posting the link.   Amazing that Bobby Allison could go from his wrecked Charger to his brother's Ford in the World 600 and finish 2nd!  NASCAR racing today bears no resemblance to racing in 1969! The crowds were much more "Brand Loyal" back then, for sure! They, obviously were loyal to drivers also but, the drivers were more identified with the car brand than they are today!
The cars were just about as fast as today's NASCAR ride but tire technology had yet to catch up and it showed!
