wondering if anybody here can give me a idea where to look for this noise

Driving my car friday, pulling into my parents driveway. I hit the brakes (fairly hard) and turn right....

As i make the turn i got a this binding/clunking noise from the back of the car. It sounds like its coming from behind the drivers side rear wheel

I just had all the brakes replaced with all new everything. Drums, pads, self adjusters, etc.....everything is new.

The car did this before when i did a burnout (power brake) When i just mash the gas its fine....but if i use the brakes to get the wheels spinning this car binds up bad

I had the rear diff serviced....they looked the suregrip over and its fine. It engages/disengages normal, no metal in the rear. Bearings looked fine, no noise from the differential.

They refilled with gear oil with the additive for LSD.

I think its a wheel bearing, maybe a hub? any ideas what it could be....again the car only does this when i do a power brake burnout....Mash the gas and its fine...

Wheel bearings are easy to check, just jack it up and check for endplay. Also check and make sure the axle adjusters are correct and not allowing lateral movement. After that, it sounds like spider gears in the diff

the noise is coming from behind the drivers side rear tire...something is not right

i will check both...

can you explain the axle adjusters? i never heard of them?

The adjuster puts preload on the axle bearings. If it is loose or the nut fell out, the wheel will essentially flop around in the housing.
