I got some pictures with trucks involved in accidents. Some of them are funny and some not so funny.

I'm going with 5, 7, 8 (because I bet there was nobody in it) & 12.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Well if one is to look at damage to property and person.  Maybe none of them are.  However, I have learned to step back and go.....

"I have seen a lot of stuff in my day but that was AWESOME"  (in my best Chris Farley voice).

To me if no one was hurt,  Well. I am LMAO.

Ya know you really don't realize how big one of those Caadian Pacific loco's are until your up in one. My shop is next to the big Milwaukee switch yard and I was able to check one out from the cab. A big Kenny or Pete don't stand a chance! :icon_smile_dead:

I know what you mean. But it makes you a little nervous when you come up on one of those Kenworths or Petes with a propane tank behind it feeling a little frisky at the crossing. It happens rarely though. Its usualy the dumb yuppies in there trail blazers or Durangos that run the crossings. i sometimes grab a notch on the throttle when it happens. They look a little bit like matchboxes you bounced off a wall when you were a kid when you hit them. Its no big secret what happens when you run the gates and loose. I dont feel sorry for people who find out the hard way.

TruckDriver

I seen a loaded dump truck get nailed by a Canadian Pacific train running at 45mph with 3 engines 3 years ago. No one knows if the driver tried to beat the train or just didn't hear the horn. It tossed the dump into the air about a good 2 feet off the road and totally emptied the 23 ton of gravel out onto the road. It then came to a rest on its wheels. We were coming out of one of the gravel pits that we always haul out of. Dale never had a chance. It hit right where the back of the cab and the box are on the drivers side. It was a Mack C model. I was shook up for a few hours. But I finished the day out just to get it off my mind. Me and the main front end loader operator were the first two people to get the Dales truck. He didn't look all the bad, but was pinned in the cab by the clutch pedal that was wrapped around his leg. We helped the paramedics get him out of the truck. He later died in the hospital from internal injuries. 2 years later, another dump got nailed. This time the driver is a personal friend of mine. It didn't kill him, but again, he got trapped in the cab by his head. He got a steel plate in the side of his face now, but is ok otherwise. Matt was coming into the pit empty and got hit on the passenger side. It tossed him a good 40 feet in the whole truck and it landed on the drivers side. I was there to see Matt get hit, but I got there about a half hour after it happened. I was sick to my stomach for a while tho. Matt was also in a Mack C model. It was a experiance to see a fully loaded dump get tossed like a Tonka toy let me tell you. I still see that in my head like it just happened :rotz:
