72 Dart Swinger WIW

Hi Guys,

Looking for opinions on what this 72 Dart Swinger is worth. 318 auto. I looked at it today and it would not start (sounded like the battery, was clicking.) I was not able to turn the motor by hand but am not sure if I was attempting it the right way. There are a few rust issues, floors are rusty but solid, trunk seemed solid, some bubbling behind rear wheels, scratches, missing rear window trim, tires low on tread, seats in decent condition but one rip in drivers seat, tread on tires is low. I am fairly certain the asking price of $6500 is way too high but am wondering what a reasonable offer would be if I can get it started.

Thanks Guys! I'm going to hold off for now and if it doesn't sell in a couple weeks then maybe I will go back. Any other suggestions on what I should offer. The seller didn't know much about the car, it was her husbands who passed a couple years ago.
