There were over 11,000 on the old board before I cleaned out all the ones who registered then disappeared. There were only about 1,500 "active" users though. Those are the ones I sent the original emails to when this site was started. We are growing pretty well for a place that's only been around nine months with no advertising and very few sites linking here. There hasn't been a single month yet where we've had less than 150 new members.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

yeah, I remember a few members from the Moparts site that jump over and converted here when things were a bit turbulent at the "other" place, but I don't see them now... :scope: I've been trying to get a few true heart Charger owners I know to join but can't seem to lure them in.  :shruggy:

i've been watching that number creep up since about 1958 members.

I know i was member #68.... just one shy of 69!

So Troy...just to satisfy PT's curiosity, who was member # 69? ;D And more importantly, who was # 70? :icon_smile_tongue:

Going through the member list HERE , I see quite a few who have registered but never posted. I don't get it, why would a person register, but not post?  :image_294343: Are the pics hosted from this site not able to be seen by non-members?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

NYCMille is 69, Shakey is 70, and Mojo is all the way down at 73.

Some people will register in order to send PMs. There are a few features turned off for guests but not many. When the site first came online you had to register to see pics but I changed it shortly after.

That's what I remembered, but I didn't know if it was still that way.

Well PT, are ya satisfied yet? :nana:

Crazy Larry

for a  while I thought Dodge closed down the old site due to copyright or whatever about the "charger" name.

I think I stumbled across DC.com through google because they finally started linking to the threads here.

I was earching religiously for D-c.com but always coming up short. Since I was a brand new member when the old site went down, I kind of missed the boat.

Glad to be back though - the discussions here are fantastic and they revolve around the best car in history.

I noticed were at 2006 member right now as I type this. You are linked up in a couple places though Troy. It might be helping. I got a link on my web sire as well as at the Third Gen site :yesnod:

Well I'm glad to see over 2,000 members. However I really only notice about 5-600 people who actually post. I know I was a lurker for a long time on the old site too.

also noticed that the person with the most time on the site is someone who never posts. Did they log on, and just never log off or what?

69_500

That and I have no idea what member number I am.

I know i'm DSAC member 289 though. :)
