Im building a 72 challenger, with a mobile home motor (78) using stealth heads from 440 source, holly dominator intake and card, I haven't decided on the cam yet.
I have acquired through the years some Hp exhaust manifolds.
Are they car specific when installing on engines or can they be mixed and matched.
one is a 2898879, the other is 3871595-2 (11/22/71)
The car is not date coded or numbers matching in any way, just a builder I want to enjoy.
Can I use these manifolds on my build, will they restrict me from installing the motor in the car in any way?
Thanks in advance the education.
MC.

yep , wont make any difference to engines performance,
be careful on that cam selection on low comp motor

Thank You Fy469rtse for the assist.
The cam I will be using is sig eroson 472 lift ....
stock pistons & rings, no boring was needed as the motor had less than 35000miles on it
Holly street dominator intake with a 750 double pumper....
I guessing about 465 little ponies for galloping to grandma's house for sunday dinners

My motor is 10:1 with a Lunati .513 lift cam/Stealth heads(unported), holley 780 and street dominator and I'd be lucky if i'm breaking 400 hp. Maybe at the crank but to the wheels it doesn't feel like 400hp.
