I need to start converting my braking system from drum to disc. Who has a good inexpensive swap for this? I assume I will need everything from booster, master, prop valve etc...

Thanks,
Jon

They have reasonable parts.   I haven't been able to test any of them yet though.   :shruggy:

Thanks! Do you know if I go from power drum to power disc, do I need a new booster/master/prop valve?

Find a 4 door Donor car and do the switch.  There is a thread somewhere in here to guide you.  Basically, any 68-74 B or E body will work.

Wow, $399 for the entire kit at teh wheel is pretty good.  THanks!

That's good, but not complete. you still need: a new proportioning valve, brake booster and master cylinder.

Monziac

Yes, thats true, but its stuff I would have needed anyhow during the resto, and most likely would need replaced if pulled from a parts car.  The yards in FL suck!!!  Finding anything early than 1983 down here is scarce....  I will look though!

Thanks,
Jon

I wouldn't buy used proportioning valve, brake booster and master cylinder, rebuilt yes.
