Nice car. Why is the front end higher, than the rear ?

Not that I could afford it but isn't $95k quite cheap for a totally original '68 Hemi?

I kind of thought the same thing when I saw it... usually they're always 6 figure cars (especially in a condition like this one).

I thought Hemi cars had mandatory disc/drum combo?
Did I miss something?

standard equipment was manual  3"x 11"   front  &  2" -1/2" x 11 rear HD police  drums   , power booster was a option for drums !  as well as discs

My good friend from GYC Mark (woman) Warmon says they mere mandatory!

charge69

Your good friend, Mark Worman is mistaken!  My Charger has the original manual drum brakes all-around on it and that is the way it came from the factory. They aren't even the self-adjusting type.  Manual brakes with manual adjusters.

:iagree:

My old '69 HemiCharger had manual drummies all around too.

If a car had the (new for 1969) 4.10 Dana axle, then power front discs were mandatory along with 10" rear drums.  Since only 3.23's and 3.54/3.55's were available for RB-powered B-bodies in 1968, there was essentially no mandatory disc brake requirement that year.

Tires might be too wide for the backspacing/rims?   :shruggy:  I had that happen with my R/T and 255-series radials on 15x8" rims - where the front tire would rub the very front lower lip of the fender during turns.  The easy solution was to keep the torsion bars cranked up a little higher than I'd like.

Also could be that age and a few too many brake-torque stoplight launches have de-arched the rear springs   :P

Must have got bombarded with calls been edited no longer any price. Nice car, but unlike most not a fan of the blue. My own car was originally b5.
