How much is a A-body 4-speed worth

I have an A-body for speed laying around that is in good shape. I want to sell it to fund the 68 Charger project. Just wondering how much I should ask for it. Here is what I know about it.

First Gear 35 teeth
Second Gear 34 Teeth
Third Gear 29 Teeth
Input Shaft 25 Teeth
has three grooves machined on the cluster shaft and on the speed gears.
Making it a 2.47 Ratio
IBR casting # C13157 making it a 5.125
tailshaft casting # C99126-2
The vin pad on the side is stamped with 5158 making it a September 1975 Build date (so I am told).

I know this was in good shape because I bought it from a guy that had it in his Chevelle and I have rode in the car before he took it out to sell it to me. Also have the cover off to visually inspect it. The only draw back is that he cut about an inch off the input shaft to use it in his Chevelle.  :'( I will need to find another input shaft to fix this problem. I am just basically wondering what this trans would be worth if I fixed the input shaft. I could also sell it back to the guy I bought it from but He probably would give me about $500.00 max if I'm lucky. However if it is only worth $600.00 fixed I would probably be ahead to sell it back to him the way it is. There was an adapter plate used and he kept that so I think he would be interested in getting the trans back. Any thoughts on the value of it if it was fixed and usable in an A-body again? Thanks guys

My luck with the A-body transmissions....      I usually pick them up for $250-350 and clean them up and rebuild them.  They usually sell for about $600 max.
