Thanks guys.

It's been a good day......though a simple one. Growing up, my family didn't make a very big deal about Bdays......"big" was and is, saved for Christmas. A couple of epic barbecues during the summer, Thanksgiving, are when we all get together.

My fiancee did treat me to dinner out.....local family run diner type, off the main road place.....that make the best damm cheese burgers. I'm a simple guy, a properly prepared burger and I'm happy. I had the double cheeseburger.....comes on a platter...the burger takes up a third, fries two thirds....a lotta food.

I will not need to eat again until Tuesday.

Man, birthdays are funny.   You're happy to have them until your 20's.
You don't look forwards to seeing them from your 30's until your 58.
And then you're happy to see another one from 59 and on because you made it another year.    Oh, you're 59 years old,....
Oops, I meant you're happy to see them from 79 and on.

Could have been worse......considering when I signed up here.....I misspelled my username. It's a wonder it didn't come out I was 95 years old.

Or 5.9......as my lady does say from time to time I act like a 6 year old. She exaggerates of course.

Actually, I never been one to worry any about the number.....one day older then the day before.
