Will the increase in value cover the price of the parts ?

My car is a real R/T with bucket seats and console and is a real FJ5 car ( I know it is not the right colour green at the moment)
The original motor is long gone
The car is just a driver (no super duper paint job)

If I was to go to the trouble of finding all the parts to swap over to a factory 4 spd set up or a 6 pack carb set up would the car be worth more than the way it sits now ??

I guess what I am asking would the increase in value cover the cost of the parts ?

Or in other words how much could I spend on the parts to break even ? (not taking into account the increased fun factor  :2thumbs: )

up to you...if you plan to sell it...the 4 speed is more desirable they say 10% more increase in value, but it seems you enjoy your car so don't look at it as an investment......

you will never get back what you put into it.....

The record prices are always set by the numbers matching, as it came from the factory cars.  The record fun is always had when you don't worry about the value of the car rising proportionally to the parts you throw at it.

Modify it the way you want it.  :Twocents:
