Just put in a remote oil filter and moved it away from the headers when i change the oil , Now i dont oil my headers down and smoke the garage up waiting for it to burn off when i change the oil. And i can put a bigger filter back on.

I'd rather burn oil off of my headers than wipe it off of the framerail/ inner fender  :shruggy:

What makes you think you would have to wipe oil off your fender well .. had one a another car and never had to do that.

Just asking but it seems like that mounted up there high might would let both hoses oil drain back into the motor so when you first cranked it up there would extra time required to fill it up before getting back to the oil passages :shruggy:

Not sure that is the case, the oil pressure is immediate and there is almost a quart in the filter that will feed the motor. Plus i had one in another car set up the same and never had an issue.

Looks good Keith.  The worst ones have to be some of the older Ferrari engines that had it on top of the intake.  I think there was an AMC engine like that too.
