Ghoste

I wonder if some were just accidentally painted wrong first?   Helluva mistake since they would be completed engines by that point but people get in a hurry on the line and next thing you know... :shruggy:

Cncguy

Now if he would kindly reattach the fender tag, before it gets lost.

Bronzedodge

This was an A/C car, although most of it has been removed.  Many of the A/C motors were turquoise for some reason.  Not sure how far into the model year for '69 it went for 440's.  My '69 383 Charger had a s.p.d. of 2-12, turquoise 383 HP /w A/C.  Seems to be true for 383 HP motors into 1970 also.
Mopar forever!

Homerr

Unusual to see a Charger without an 'A' group package.

fc7_plumcrazy

a great project in a nice color combo

I've never seen any evidence that B body cars that were supposed to have HP engines (XS, RS, WS) with optional A/C received a turquoise motor. They were orange with and without A/C.

Your 69 Charger with A/C should be turquoise as it came with the 330 horse version, not the 335 HP edition.

1970 is a whole different situation when there was an orange 335 horse A/C application.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.
