I got a pretty good deal, My challenger bumpers were looking a bit worn and dull with a couple of places that had some surface rust.  I was going to use that bumper exchange, it was like $225 per bumper.  I have a kid who used to wrestle for me that ownes a chromming co.  they don't do auto parts, they do commercial work chairs etc.  They don't do any polishing.  I called him to see if he knew a good place locally to get my bumpers done, he said just brieng them in he would do them and send them out to be polished.  He had some polishing places that owed him some favors.  Anyhow He called and said they were finished and looked better than new, but the polisher charged him $100 per bumper.  I told him that was no problem.  So I got both finished for $200 free would  have been better but still a great deal!  Can't wait to pick them up

*Speed costs money son, how fast do you want to go, and for how long?"
*"Build the biggest engine you can afford the first time."
*"We normally wouldn't use a 383 for this build, parts and labor for a 440 cost the same."

Allen,
I haven't heard from Ken in awhile; tried to call him about a month ago. Goldie is almost complete. Right now, I only have drive around the block confidence in her.
Gotta get the damn fuel gage hooked up.
