72 Charger Fan Shroud???

YearOne says their fan shroud will not fit unless I have an OEM radiator or purchased the Radiator from them.  I have an after market radiator, why the concern, what would be different?  Thanks,

the side supports on the rad may not have the correct lip or the bolt could be in the wrong place or not there at all to hold the shroud

i got a mopar performance shroud for mine,the bolt holes didnt line up for shit,right now i have it wired in until i figure out how the hell to get it in right.ran way to hot to drive in traffic with out it
