shocks, what would be good for a rally application?

well, if y'all caught my "383 in a rally car?" topic, I'm trying to decide on shocks.  The front suspension is gonna get backdated to the B-body suspension for more availiale parts, but what should I use for shocks?  (the car's gonna be hitting all kinds of bumps and jumps)  maybe Ranchos?
when racing deals fall apart.....you go home, like me.
