If your wheels ain't spinn'n you ain't got no traction.

Nice ride, but I like a little bit of chrome or brushed metal to break up the color.

twodko

It's certianly a masterful resto mod but I've never liked blacked out
bumpers, grilles or trim on any car or truck, new or old, if they originally
had chrome accents.  :Twocents:

Looks kinda cheap if you ask me. I know they have tons of $$$ in it but still cheap.

Yep look at the door divider trim, is that pop riveted on :shruggy:

In my world anything Chevy on a Mopar does not fly with me.

Another 68 ruined.

I'd love to have some of the "ruined" cars people talk about on this forum.

I guarantee that door divider riveting being exposed was an artistic decision.  Look around at lots of modern vehicles and exposed hardware is a trend.  Its not even expensive or difficult to do that piece of trim the stock way.

Picture that car with shiny leather/vinyl inside, no new exposed hardware, and the chrome bumpers/trim back to being chrome.  It doesn't look so cheap anymore.  All those things look more like artistic decisions than penny-pinching or laziness, given who was doing the work.  MCR has done some very nice stock restos on Mopars in the past.

Lennard

Why can't people leave a classic car classic!? :rotz:

twodko

Same Same with Foose. Why does he have to f**king lower every car they restore?

Red headlights are interesting  ::)

Very nice for all the effort they put into it....
But, as this example shows...it's hard to improve on a design thats as nice as the second generation Charger......

"Ruined" was my opinion. I guess I should've worded it that way. When you say "I'd love to have" are you willing to pay the inflated price that goes along with some of these stupid resto mods?

Just saying :shruggy:

And just my :Twocents:

1974dodgecharger

he wont drive it on the road.......

MxRacer855

Not the way I would have done it, but definitely a cool car!

Oh heck no, I wouldn't pay that much for it either.  I'd rather do my own thing.

IMO the whole principle of building highly modified cars for selling is a bit flawed.  It usually doesn't work.

Definitely would have left the stock trim. I was more intrigued by the twin turbo set-up. Someone on here is doing that aren't they?

Some things I like a lot, others not so much. Overall, I like it.  :yesnod:

Such is the case with custom/modified cars. They are built to taste, which may not be the taste of others.

There are certain little details I'd have fixed.  For example, I'd have restored the grille a little better, and definitely made sure the pattern in those tail light lenses lined up.  :eek2:

Finished in triple black.

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I absolutely love it. I'd drive it as is. (Although I'd rather have the original tail lamp lenses with the LEDs fitted in them, and probably want the bumpers and trim back chrome again.)

That interior is a work of art.

I'm sure the red halos around the headlights can be turned off for street use.

I love it.
